In January 2008, we co-bred a litter with Meisterhaus Basenjis of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, and are proud to announce the arrival of a healthy litter of five puppies (one red female, two red males, one tri-color female, and one tri-color male. This litter is a line-breeding on Jan Robert's healthy Tamsala bloodline. A pedigree and photos for this litter appear below.
The sire is AKC CH Tamsala Hot Onya Heels, "Neo," and the dam is SBOS AKC/UCICB CH Tambuzi Kelele, "Kelele," both of whom were imported from Australia and are of Jan Robert's Tamsala bloodline. Tamsala has a long history of health-testing, producing sound dogs with outstanding temperaments and great conformation, as well as show wins too numerous to mention here.
Both Neo and Kelele have had the necessary health-testing, including eyes, hips, and the newly developed linked-marker DNA test for Fanconi Syndrome. We are pleased to report that neither is afflicted with Fanconi.
